Knights in Black Leather #2
By: Ronnie Douglas
Releasing February 23, 2016
William Morrow
Blurb
The second novel in Ronnie Douglas’ sexy Southern Wolves motorcycle club series—reminiscent of Kristen Ashley and Jay Crownover—tells the story of an aspiring fashion designer and a biker who discover a desire that knows no limits.
When the daughter of one of the Southern Wolves gets a flat in the middle of a thunderstorm, there’s only one thing to do—strip down to her underwear and get a little muddy. But when Alamo, the sexy biker shows up to rescue Ellen yet again, things are bound to get a whole lot dirtier.
Between the trouble he left behind and club rules, Alamo knows he needs to stay clear of Ellen. He’s not looking for a woman or complications—even when that woman is everything a man could want. Unfortunately, Ellen isn’t playing by anyone’s rules but her own these days, and a Southern woman who’s been raised by Wolves is awfully hard to deny.
So when they give in to their raging attraction, both get much more than they bargained for.

Review:
This book is different then other mc books I have read and to be honest I had no idea how to rate it.
Now I haven't read the first book in this series so when this book starts out it seems parallel to the first one. Ellen is attending college and is the daughter of a deceased southern wolves member. She just ends her on again off again relationship with Noah and Alamo comes to pick her up and take her wherever she wants.
Alamo is the new guy and while he's starting over in tn he doesn't want to step on anyone's toes. When Noah tells him that Ellen is under his protection that means hands off. Although he is attracted to her there are rules and only one person who can actually change them.
Okay so Ellen and Alamo are attracted to one another but both don't act on it. Ellen thinks he doesn't like her like that because he is avoiding her and Alamo thinks she has a man. Needless to say this couple barely even speak for 6 months before things come out in the open for them to give one another a shot.
Honestly I think I expected more romance and more sex. The sex is mentioned but not it detailed and that's what I mean about this being a different kind of mc book. Hardly any cursing and no I love yous at the end. It was just a little strange. Not saying I didn't like it but it felt weird to read a mc book without all that stuff.
Now that I said that I enjoyed it was different and not like the other books out there. It was nice seeing a southern mc guy who had manners and every other word out of his mouth wasn't a curse word.
I enjoyed getting to know the characters and there is plenty of them to go around. We also meet Alamos sister and her roommate who maybe get there own HEA in a future book.
The one character I really had mixed feelings about was Noah and hopefully when his book comes out he can redeem himself for some of things he did. Overall he's not a bad guy just a player of sorts and I didn't really like how he treated Ellen.
We get a little drama and not just between Noah and Alamo. Alamos past catches up with him and well Ellen ends up in the middle that's all I'm going to say on that. For the details you'll have to read this story.
I am looking forward to see where Douglas will take this series. If your looking for a mild mc book I highly recommend this one!
