Guest Post & Giveaway with Jillian Chantal

Today I want to welcome the awesome  Jillian Chantal... take it away Jillian

First I want to say thanks to my awesome hostess for letting me guest blog today. I love to check out this site and see what’s up and I’m thrilled to be here again as a guest.

Halloween is my favorite time of year. I love everything about it. The crispness in the days(well, some of the days anyway as I live in Northwest Florida), the colors changing, the scary movies on all the channels (so many to choose from), the corn mazes, haunted houses, caramel apples, and all that other good stuff.

Speaking of scary and creepy, I learned a really funny thing about my hometown when my son started driving. He found a short-cut to his best friend’s house and was telling me about it. He described how dark and creepy this road was at night because there are no street lights and there’s one house that has a green glowing light somewhere on it that’s all he can see as he drives around the curve of the road. When he told me the name of the road, I thought it was awesome and had this picture in my head of a raven or black crow swooping around the area.

The other day, I asked him to show me this road I’d never been on or heard of before he told me about it. I want to write a story with this road and the scariness he talked about and I needed to visualize it so I could have the whole picture in my head. I was delighted when we got there to take the photo I’m attaching here. I love it. Could it be more appropriate?

Leave me a comment about your favorite part of Halloween or your favorite costume you’ve worn and I’ll pick a winner to receive a Halloween surprise package from me.

Guest Post & Giveaway with Cari Quinn

Happy haunting! And contest!

Many thanks to Danielle for inviting me back to blog with her. Today is the release day for Bad Kitty, my Halloween-themed novella. There aren't any spooks or vampires, but there is a sexy twin dressed up in a devil costume and a woman who feels jilted in a Domme Kitty outfit whose ready to make the devil pay. While Bad Kitty's warning includes a mention of BDSM, I don't really think a couple whaps of a tail (that's sort of like a flogger, yes) count as BDSM, but that will be up to the reader.

Patrick and Nikki's story came about because Halloween has been my favorite holiday since I was a child – and yep, I still watch Peanuts' It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown every year – and I wanted to write a story around that holiday. Someday I'll do a paranormal Halloween story - maybe one about ghosts since they fascinate me - but in the meantime, Nikki and Patrick have nothing more dangerous to deal with than possible spontaneous combustion from a night of hot sex. ;)

Why do I like Halloween so much? Well, the reasons are endless. First of all, I love fall. There's something so gorgeous about changing leaves and checking out fat pumpkins sitting on porches. I love the ambience and I savor the smells, too...fresh apple cider, woodsmoke, crisp breezes...ah, it's making me want to go outside and jump in a pile of leaves! (Which I haven't gotten around to raking yet...shh.) Then there are the spooky aspects. I'm a huge fan of vampire stories – Bones from Halfway to the Grave anyone? - and I love classic horror movies, like Halloween. I've watched that movie so many times I have it memorized. Plus there's just something so magical about this time of year, isn't there? Almost as if anything can be possible if you wish upon the moon...

What about you? Do you have a favorite holiday? Which one and why? If you don't like/don't celebrate holidays, no problem, just wave hello and you'll be entered too. I'll pick a random commenter to win their choice of ANY of my ebooks (including Bad Kitty.) So comment away!

Bad Kitty blurb:

Reformed bad girl Nikki Carson has spent the past year trying to forget her boss's Halloween party and the unbelievable sex she had with her boss's hot twin, Patrick Nolan. Patrick hasn't mentioned that night since, much to Nikki's endless disappointment.

Years of following in the wake of his womanizing brother cause Patrick to wonder if Nikki even knows which twin she slept with. He can't believe she could possibly prefer him over her slick, polished boss. That doesn't mean he's been able to stop fantasizing about taking her again. Against the wall. On the floor. Everywhere.

It's Halloween again, and trick or treat takes on a whole new meaning when Nikki and Patrick go for round two. Especially since Nikki's come prepared with a Domme kitty costume meant to drive Patrick wild. And this kitty's ready to show her claws if she doesn't get what she wants...

This title contains: explicit language, anal sex, and BDSM.

ARC Review: Belong to Me by Shayla Black

"When FBI analyst Tara Jacobs's fellow agent and best friend goes missing while investigating a sex ring, Tara goes undercover as a submissive in a BDSM club. But no man can top a woman like Tara-until a dangerous Dom takes control of the scene and sets her heart racing. Too bad he's also the man who stole her innocence years ago-and one to whom she'll never submit. But Navy SEAL Logan Edgington knows he alone can protect her-and this time he'll never let her go..."

Paperback, 400 pages
Expected publication: October 4th 2011 by Berkley Heat

ISBN13 9780425243152
primary language English
original title Belong To Me

While starting this book I was praying to the book gods that it wouldn't be like Hunters book. Well, surprise it wasn't. It was so much better.

Loan and Tara were high school sweethearts but when a murder happens the night Tara gives him all of her things between the couple come to an end to save lives. Now 12 years later Tara is an outstanding FBI agent on a mission to save her fellow agent and friend.

Logan is a Seal on leave and he returns to what makes him feel somewhat complete Club Dominion. He’s been celibate for the last five years because lets face the facts no one can compare to his Tara. Tara comes face to face with Logan and is forced to put old feeling a side but can she when she has to be trained by him? He broke her heart, and she wants another Dom, but Logan isn't giving up on winning her back.

I had the hardest time putting this hot little number down! Not only was the sex explosive but the emotions that came with it made me want to hug them both. Their chemistry was just dripping off the pages and makes you want no maybe not want but need them to end up together and happy.

Each book in the series has suspense, emotions and some hot lovin but this book was just wow oh wow. I will say it one of my favorite so far. Shayla takes you on an amazing journey into the world of Dom and Submissive BDSM.

I was really surprised to find out who the sire was because to be honest I didn't even consider that person! Believe me I had a "no fu*king way" moment that had my heart beating fast. It was so serious that when I was done with the book I had to have a moment with Shayla's Assistant! Okay so it wasn't a moment but a series phone call and conversation. Loved this book!!

An excellent plot, lots of explosive sex and the look into this dark world will have you head over heels for this Navy Seal. I mean I have a thing for Seals and now I must have my own like ASAP. I also loved toward the end how she revisits some previous characters from the earlier books. That was a real plus for me. I mean anywhere Deke is I will be sure to follow.

If you have never read this series you have no idea what you are missing. Go out and start them all now because I have a good feeling the series will begin to take off on a new exciting adventure on on the next release. Shayla Black is back and not going anywhere. I cant wait to get my hands on the next book and the release just, well, can not come soon enough to keep me satisfied.

KLB blog tour: Feature & Giveaway :Gabriel's Inferno by Sylvain Reynard

PhotobucketGabriel's Inferno
Author: Sylvain Reynard
Professor Gabriel Emerson, a specialist in Dante and the art of seduction, believes he has already earned his exile to the lower circles of hell. Since redemption is impossible, there is no reason to refrain from indulging in a life of pleasurable sin, using his notorious good looks and sophisticated charm as a means to gratify his every whim. But when he meets Julia Mitchell, a brilliant, lovely, and innocent grad student with the achingly familiar eyes of an angel, all of his cynical convictions are challenged. Her mysterious allure and the havoc she wreaks on his self-satisfied existence cause him to lash out at her, while her quiet beauty and innate goodness consistently undermine his control, tempting him beyond measure. Despite surviving a traumatic childhood, nothing has shaken Julia's faith that redemption is possible for everyone-everyone but her. Her unworthiness torments her, since the only man she will ever love has managed to forget her very existence, failing to even recognize her when they reconnect. Too naive to see that Gabriel's hostility is a mask for his increasing obsession with her, Julia forces him to come to grips with his past while she continues to unwittingly torment his senses. His fascination grows into a dangerous preoccupation, for Julia is forbidden fruit . . .
