I am proud to sat this was my very first Hunter's book and I was not at all disappointed. In fact I now want to go read all of them and have recently added them to my must read pile. With me saying that I also want to admit that Shiloh Walker is still a new author for me, but I can guarantee you I have a ton of books I want to conquer by her.

Dominic is a vampire that is not only having problems with his memory but he gets the feeling that he is loosing his mind. He is sent to be checked out at a Facility and he ends up sensing someone who is vaguely familiar to him, but he isn't so sure. This only wants to make him find out more. This that thought would have been buried are not coming to light with every step he gets closer.

Nessa hasn't had it easy. She keeps loosing the people who mean the most to her. Nessa had experienced a near-death experience and needless to say since then things have not been the same. Getting a second chance of life has her down and not wanting to enjoy it fully. When the past meets up with the future her friends wonder if it will be enough to save her.

I really liked Nessa and Dominic to be honest. The journey they embark on together was really outstanding and kept you guessing. The relation that is formed was more then romantic but touching. Not to say its a easy one because they both have some issues they have to work on and they continue to work on through out the book. The chemistry and passion between the two had my heart racing. One thing I was a little disappointed on where the love scenes. Their tended to not be a lot of them do to the fact that it mostly constraints on the past, but you get the feel of what is in store for them to come.

Now since this was my very first Hunter's book I was missing the connections to the other characters in the story and that is why I really want to go back and start where it all began. I did get confused at times during the story but again I believe that would be my fault for starting so far into the series. The main characters were still well developed and strong for what they been through. I also liked that the characters weren't perfect. They made mistakes and worked through them to fix them.

Overall I did end up enjoying this wonderful story. I also got a chance to fall in love with this wonderful world that Shiloh Walker has created. It was more then different....maybe the word I will use is unique. Its a wonderful read filled with emotions, love and determination. My only suggestion would be if you haven't started this series from the beginning don't just jump in. I think readers will get more out of it from starting from the first book and that is what I am looking forward to. I hope to get lost and invested from the beginning and I am really looking forward to it. Happy Reading!!!
