American lass seeks brawny Scot...

As if being newly single isn’t brutal enough, Sloane Chatfield's friends are getting obnoxious about setting her up. When Sloane insists she's waiting for a certain sexy fictional Highlander to come along, her friends surprise her with a trip to Scotland to find her a new boyfriend. She’d rather have a root canal. But if she can find a Highland hunk to “break her heart” before her friends arrive…

In a remote Highland village, Galen Buchanan is struggling to keep the family pub afloat. Everything is falling apart, he’s running out of money, and now there's an opinionated American lass parked at his best table, driving him mad. But then Sloane asks Galen to be her pretend Highland boyfriend...and offers him enough money to save the pub. It’s only for a few days, he figures. What's the worst that could happen?

   Review:
I actually enjoyed this story and the characters. The way London speaks about the scenery I can actually picture it which is always a plus. At the beginning she has been their for 2 weeks I wish the book would have started when they first met and Laid eyes on one another.

Omg I loved Galen. He was not only hot with the accent but had some great lines. After Sloane asks him to be her pretend boyfriend and he starts flirting with her had me laughing. Finally when he wears the kilt for Sloane was sweet.

I enjoyed how Sloane began to change and grow after meeting Galen. I think that's who she really was the whole time and Adam didn't deserve her. You can tell Scotland was a good choice for her.

The story had some really cute parts and yet some predictable one including how her ex shows up to win her back. That part kind of annoyed me. And also most of the story takes place in the bar. I was hoping they would have done a bit more while in this town.

Although this started out as a fake relationship you can start to see where it starts to get real for both of them even though Galen is trying to fight it. I did love the story but I guess I just pictured a different ending. Like him not showing and her heading home and Galen going after her but the way it happend was nice. And when they confessed their love in front of the town, that had me smiling from ear to ear.

I hope London decides to make this a series and all of Sloane's friends find themselves some hot scots!
