Yet with her life doing a major crash-and-burn, anywhere away from her unfulfilled dreams will do. But sexy Ford Walker has his own ideas, such as keeping Tara hot, bothered . . . and in his bed. And when her ex wants Tara back, three is a crowd she can’t control—especially when her deepest secret reappears out of the blue. Now Tara must confront her past and discover what she really wants. If she’s lucky, she might just find that everything her heart desires is right here in Lucky Harbor."

Review:

Tara Daniels has finally settled into Lucky Harbor six months after returning. Even though she was thrown into meeting her other two sisters, they are determined to make this Bed & Breakfast work where they can live and and work together. Ford Walker made a career being a winning Sailor. Has has the talent to take on anything he wishes, but he wants to stay in Lucky Harbor. The heat between him and Tara is still very much alive as it was 17 years ago. Convincing Tara wont be a walk in the park and is much easier said than done.

When Tara’s ex-husband shows up in town claiming he wants her back, she no longer has one man trying to win her heart back but two. Can true love conquer all? .

In the first book,
Simply Irresistible, I wasn't a big fan of Tara, but towards the end I was hooked. She had a past that she was still hiding. Tara is a difficult character to like because she can be bossy, controlling, a tad pushy and wants everything to be in order. Ford is messy and tends to embrace the day for what it is. Total opposites attract, right?!

Oh yes, I enjoyed Ford very much. This green eyed sailor will grab you hook, line, and sinker. Actually, I mostly enjoyed their team work in trying to solve some past and present issues with their lives. They had to learn to trust each other and realized that they both bring something special to each other.

I absolutely loved this book. Jill Shalvis brings an entertaining spin to Lucky Harbor. I have never laughed and cried so much in a book before. Ford will having you swooning and sighing all over the place. You get a chance to feel what Tara and Ford are feeling from the moment you open the book. Not only do you wonder what will happen in the long run, but a surprise is thrown in that will keep you flipping the pages faster to get to the outcome. To be honest, I still haven't had enough of Ford and Tara.

One thing I know for sure, Jill Shalvis never disappoints. She brings you a hot, sweet, fun, and romantic story. I really don't think it gets any better then this. Shalvis is simply irresistible and original. All in all, I really enjoyed this book and the ending left the biggest smile on my face. I truly hope it will leave one on yours as well.

I'm giving The Sweetest Thing 5 Stars

    Welcome Katy Walters

Please welcome Author Katy Walters!! Welcome Katy!! I am so glad to have you here today.

Hi Katy!! Why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I live  on the South Coast of England with my husband  and golden retriever Lily.  I started off as a singer, studying opera but going into cabaret.  It meant a lot of touring and traveling abroad but I missed my boyfriend terribly.  So I I went back studying and obtained degrees in psychology, philosophy, religion and mysticism.  It became  my life’s passion.  Over the years, whilst treating people I would sometimes use creative writing as a cathartic technique, where they would write down their fears, their life history and so on. Gradually I became very involved and immersed and began writing myself. So the clients really helped me to begin writing again.

WOW!!! When did you know you really wanted to be a writer?

Way back in my childhood. I have always written.  I used to write fairy stories for my sister when we were children and she was in a sanatorium for T.B almost every winter.   Throughout my studies and career I would always scribble away at night or on holiday.
Do you actually write full time or do you something else as well?
Yes and have done so for the past six years.

That's great!!Why don't you tell everyone about your upcoming release?
I am so excited about this.  This is a thriller with  romance and science fiction interwoven along with prehistoric beliefs and sexual rituals.  In 2065 the bodies of young women are found covered in putrefying snakes with an ancient relic wedged beneath their feet. A note is also left telling the police that other women have been abducted. The police are horrified but also puzzled as to why are some of the young women are murdered whilst others are abducted?
The hero, Ben Tobin, a Super Cop is an enigma, his identity known only to the few.  He is working undercover for MI8 who exact a terrible price from him - perfection.  Any defects physical or mental spell liquidation. To his horror he develops a phobia of the snakes involved in these grisly murders.  He dare not let MI8 find out.  Desperate he turns to Dr. Lucy Roberts, a rebel in her own field of psychology.  He has to take the chance she will not report him. On finding out his true identity Lucy is repulsed and reluctant to treat him. Ben pleads with her, explaining that he suspects the abducted women are being forced to become sacred prostitutes, sexual slaves in the rituals of a sinister snake cult that follow a prehistoric Goddess.  Lucy relents and they also join forces to solve the secret of the relic which could lead Ben to the cult.  In their fight to save the women, they are drawn into a love-hate relationship. The chase takes them to the dawn of civilization – to the root of Ben’s phobias and a clue to the whereabouts of the victims.

WOW! Sounds so different and interesting. I cant wait to get my hands finally on it! When is the release date?

    July 4th, 2011

How did you come up for the idea of this book?
The idea came from my work. As a psychologist I treated people for neuroses and phobias.  Phobias can be shocking, destroying  a person’s life, their relationships, careers and self-confidence.  I did initially think of writing up fictitious cases based loosely on the conditions I treated, but found that just basing it solely on clients and treatments  it became quite repetitive – it just didn’t bite.    I then hit on the idea of a policeman having a phobia – the flawed hero.    As I have a fear of snakes, I wondered how he would cope if he had to work with the snakes in a murder investigation.  It developed from there.
Can you tell us a little bit about the hero and heroine? You have me so curious!!

Ben Tobin is an enigma and his identity is revealed in the fourth and fifths when he is interviewed by Lucy..  He is fighting for the freedom to live and love – to be able to reveal his true identity and be accepted for what he is.  When meeting Lucy, because of what he is, Ben’s personality is almost cold, distant, his whole life is centered around bringing justice to his victims. Sexually he is driven only by lust but yearns to find out what love is. Lucy is the key to  Ben developing beyond what and who he is.
Lucy is a wounded physician. Carl Jung did claim that only the wounded can truly help the suffering.  Lucy is highly sexual, vulnerable yet can be feisty.  At one point Ben thinks she is as mean as her cat. Although repulsed with what Ben truly is, she is smitten, desiring him on sight, falling for his dark hair, sculpted body and startling eyes. During  their stormy relationship Lucy unfolds to Ben that she was the victim of violence.  This holds her back from entering into any full relationship.  It is through Ben that she finds release.

Yay! I really can't wait to read it. I am so happy for you! I know you mentioned there will be a book 2 & 3... How excited are you?

Very. Already I have the ideas for the next two books and can’t wait to get started on them.

Well you go get started on those :) Thanks so much for coming by. I really do hope you stop by again. I had fun.

Animal Magnetism (Animal #1) by Jill Shalvis

I have never had many favorite authors, but I have to say Jill Shalvis is truly one of my favorite. She never fails to make me laugh, cry and drool in every book she writes. For some reason not only does she always write the perfect romance but she always has the best alpha males. Ever.

"Co-owner of the town's only kennel, Lilah Young has lived in Sunshine, Idaho, all her life. Pilot-for-hire Brady Miller is just passing through. But he soon has Lilah abandoning her instincts and giving in to a primal desire. It's Brady's nature to resist being tied down, but there's something about Lilah and her menagerie that keeps him coming back for more."

Lilah Young is the owner of a kennel and she is  having trouble keeping the kennel a float. She also rescues strays and is taking classes to finish her degree in veterinary science.

                                                                                                  Buy at Borders

Brady Miller has been in special forces for many years. Now he is a pilot for hire and decides to take a month off to help out his brothers, Adam and Dell. They have a used helicopter they want Brady to repair and fly, but that's that not all they want, they also want him to live there and work with them.

Brady's truck is rear- ended by Lilah jeep. *oops*  The attraction immediate, but can Brady resist Lilah charm? Maybe convince him to stay around?

Jill Shalvis brings you a funny and  endearing novel. Animal Magnetism is not only fun but warm. I absolutely loved it. I think Jill brings a special magic to her books that you get attached and just as invested to all her characters.

The characters were all very well written and I loved how each and everyone of them flowed and interacted so well together. Lilah eats junk food and swears, but its is a guarantee you will fall in love with her. Brady is a loner, and a sexy as hell alpha male. *fans self*  They are really actually perfect for each other. *sigh, I totally wanted Brady*  Even the side characters captured my interest in so many ways. I am super excited to get to read about Dell and Adam and what will be in store for these two hot guys.

One of my favorite parts of the story is when he get twinkles. It just captures your heart. When Brady takes care of him made it made me laugh and want to help him figure it all out. Totally cute!

The plot was more then interesting, it was unique. I couldn't find it in myself to actually put this book down. Not that I could ever put down a Jill Shalvis book. Oh no no no I have to finish asap. She just has a way about her that the story can flow so well. I loved the whole animal spin and it wasn't only because I love all animals but I loved how she incorporated other animals who you never think as pets that also need some tlc.

One thing I know for sure is that Shalvis never disappoints me. Ever. Her writing is not only unique, but her trilogies are fun, exciting, romantic, and the men are always swoon worthy. If you want a cute, romantic story this would be the book for you. I cant wait now until Animal Attraction, which is due out in October 2011. Get ready ladies I think this will be the year of Jill Shalvis and a few other new releases to get ready for. *fan girl scream*

Bonded by Blood (Sweetblood #1) by Laurie London

    Buy at Borders

Laurie London's debut novel Bonded by Blood was more then excellent! I loved it!

McKenzie Foster -Shaw  enjoys taking pictures of new movie locations. As it just so happens today she finds herself in a very creepy cemetery. While there she comes across an injured man she wants to help. Little does she know she wont remember seeing him once this encounter is over.

Dominic Serrano is a good vampire. Now that he has caught McKenzie's scent, he has to taste her. He does in fact find the strength to stop drinking from her but only barely. He ends up giving her just a few drops of his blood to make sure she survives. Dom drops her off at her house, but will he be able to stay away?

McKenzie and Dom end up encountering each other several times and each time just gets more explosive. Not only are they attracted to each other, but come to find out they are Bonded by Blood.

Not only was this story easy to get into, but the world that London built is so hard to resist. The building of the sexual tension keeps you on your toes and plays out perfectly. The characters stand out just liked I hoped they would. Dom is not the classic male. He is more on the emotional, yet understanding side so I grew a soft spot for him fast. McKenzie is feisty and is ready to get all the answers to her questions. Although I liked McKenzie, I didn't really connect with her, but that was okay. I wasn't disappointed at all.

I absolutely loved Dom! He had a traumatic past but came out triumphant and I loved every single minute of it. I also loved him and McKenzie as a couple and how close they became. They started out slow in the whole getting to know each other and wow Dom was so good at that. Taking his sweet time....perfect. The side characters interested me more and more as it progressed. So now I really cant wait for the next release.

The plot was very well written. It all flowed so nicely. Of course their are questions you will ask yourself but of course as in any good series you have to wait for the answers. I have a feeling the bigger picture will be more then extraordinary. I honestly cant wait to see where Laurie London will take us with the second book in this phenomenal series, Embraced by Blood, which is set to release July 2011.

The journey that London takes you on is fantastic. This is a nice addition to all the vamp novels out there. She has earned her place up their with the best and I will continue on this ride. If you love vampires, romance, fun, and adventure this is the book for you. Happy Reading :)

The sky is falling..ok well not really, but it sure does feel like it!

Today was officially the worst day in a long time. Not only did some idiot try to file taxes in my name but decided that wasn't enough. Oh yes filed in my husbands as well. So now my plans on moving and everything else I wanted to do is now on hold. Sitting at the IRS office for over 3 hours = not fun! Just so they can tell you "this could take up to 14 weeks". Sure, take your time. I have my millions in the bank to help me with everything. The sad part is they are serious! Then having to go to the police station to file a report. Great. So not only did I miss a whole day of work, but someone decided they had a great plan going. So thank you to the system for not helping me when I filed a police report last year for the same thing! Glad to know this is where my money goes to. Now that might sound a bit bitchy but my father is a police officer (not the city I filed with) and to have not even someone in the police dept even look into it and mark my report as "info" is a slap in the face. If that officer would have done his job ...just maybe this wouldn't have happened to me a second time. I'm just throwing that out there. Be careful what you toss, even the littlest things because you never really know. *sigh* BlogBooster-The most productive way for mobile blogging. First Lady by Susan Elizabeth Phillips

"The beautiful young widow of the President of the United States thought she was free of the White House, but circumstances have forced her back into the role of the First Lady. Not for long, however, because she's made up her mind to escape -- if only for a few days -- so she can live the life of an ordinary person. All she needs is the perfect disguise...and she's just found it. As an entire nation searches for her, the First Lady teams up with an infuriatingly secretive, quietly seductive stranger and two adorable little orphaned girls in need of a family. And all together they head out across the heartland chasing their own American Dream -- on a wild journey, adventure, and glorious rebirth."

Mat used to work for a Tabloid TV Show but grew sick of it. He a had met a woman named Sandi, and they married but shortly after they were divorced. Sandi decided to keep his last name and come to find out he now has two daughters, Lucy and Button. Sandi passes away in a auto accident with Buttons real father. Since Mat is on both their birth certificates he needs to figure this all out and fast.

Cornelia Case is the widow of President Dennis Case. The White House still wants her to continue her duty as First Lady and help the Vice President out. And that is something she does not want to do. She keeps it up as long as she can , but now its time to call it quits. Cornelia is tired of being in the public and she decides its time for a break, literally. Breaking out the White House couldn't be so easy, could it?

Cornelia meets Mat at a truck stop after her rental care is stolen from under her nose and the cash she needed. Let the adventure begin. How long is the First Lady able to evade the Secret Service?

I liked the story, but overall I just felt like I was missing something.

The characters were the strongest when they were together, then they were alone. Cornelia was smart, wise, and goodhearted.  Mat on the other hand was macho, softhearted at times, and not interested in being a family man. Lucy was the teenager from hell, but who wouldn't be after everything she went through. Button was glue to them which I thought was super sweet due neither of them are her real parents. I was glad when Lucy comes around.

The ending was a bit of a surprise, but overall this book is sweet, charming, and funny. Susan Elizabeth Phillips brings you not only into the White House, but shows you forever does come true.

    Insatiable by Cari Quinn

Having all of her is the only thing that will satisfy him...

Shawn Griffin and Rachel Cooper have been best friends practically since birth, thanks to their families’ close relationship. But for the past few years, Shawn has been fantasizing about getting his best pal in his bed. When she announces she’s taking a trip to reconnect with an old lover, Shawn knows the time has come to put up or shut up. If she wants to go to New York City, fine. But he’s coming with her.

Rachel doesn’t know what to think of Shawn’s sudden interest. Determined to live life on her own terms, she refuses to fall right in line with her wealthy family’s wish that they get married and have perfect little babies. She just didn’t count on how determined her seemingly laid back -- and extremely sexy -- best friend would become after setting his sights on what he wants. Her, over and over again.

But when tragedy strikes, Rachel begins to wonder if she’ll lose not only her lover but her best friend too
If you want hot, romantic, fun and emotional this is the novella for you. Cari Quinn will take you on the sexiest roller coaster ride of your life when you get sucked into two best friends longing for each other, but who will make the first move?

Shawn Griffin is an architect who was born in California. Not only is Shawn is blessed with good looks, amazing green eyes and golden hair, but his father is the CEO of the company he works for. Shawn happens to have only one regret in life, which is the night he turned down his best friend’s proposal to become intimate. Since he turned her down when she was younger and curious she ended up in another mans arms. Shawn has been in love with Rachel forever and now it is the time to make her his.

Rachel Cooper is a middle school teacher. Rachel met Shawn just minutes after entering into this world, thanks to the lifelong friendship between both families. Shawn had become her best friend. Rachel had never considered opening up her heart to him other then just being friends but lately she has been noticing more about the man in her life who helps with all her problems.

Rachel has been invited to New York by her high school boyfriend. This even has her thinking about rekindling what they once had. The kicker is if Rachel goes so does Shawn because he is ready to claim the woman he is in love with.
Shawn will have his work cut out for him when he follows Rachel and tries competing with her ex-boyfriend.

Shawn is definitely swoon worthy. He is sexy, fun, sweet and determined. Rachel is strong and is ready to take on a whole new side of herself on vacation in New York. I don't want to give away to much but when they meet up in New York things tend to get a bit hot!! You might have to fan yourself ladies.

Not only does Quinn have some smoking hot sex scenes, but a wonderful storyline that you can't help but get caught up in. The characters are strong and you cant help but to be drawn to both their emotions. Sometimes I got really really frustrated with Rachel turning him down, I actually wanted to swoop in and take him for myself. *winks* It became clear why she did or said some of the things she did as the story goes on and then you help to feel a connection to her. While on vacation a  tragedy happens and now its time for Rachel to pick up the pieces and hopefully she wont loose just her lover and best friend.

I  really enjoyed Insatiable very much and I hated to see it end. I wanted more! *pouts* One thing is for sure Quinn will have turning the pages faster and faster. If this is your first Cari Quinn book I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Cari Quinn has set her bar high and I am dying to read what will come next.

Deep in the Heat of Texas by Alta Hensley, Melissa Ecker, and Amy le Blanc

Three fabulous authors together in one book is just the beginning of this journey. I never would have thought how much fun it would be visiting Texas, but after this steamy read, visiting just sounds more and more appealing.

Los Angeles Times reporter, Maggie Wright, is assigned to do a story on the dying dude ranch industry in the south. When the newspaper offers to foot the bill for Maggie and her two friends, Payton Evans and Sophia Foster, to stay at the legendary Weston Ranch in Valentine, Texas, they jump at the opportunity. While it's not the Caribbean cruise they wanted, how bad could it be?
Expecting a tired farm with dusty old cowpokes, the three big city friends are taken by surprise when they're each assigned to a dashing cowboy or two for some good, old fashioned ranch training and a whole lot of rough riding. Their limits are tested in ways they never imagined, both in the bedroom and out on the range. After two weeks, will the women run back to the bright lights of Los Angeles without so much as a backward glance? Or will these skilled cowboys have them longing to stay for just a little bit more of their Texas-style heat?
These three stories will heat you up. They will also make you pant and drool. Caution things do get steamy. Hensley, Ecker, and Le Blanc make you want to pack up your belongings and head to Texas right that very minute. The women in the stories were strong, educated and beautiful, but each of them missing something in their life. Going on this getaway will help them find what they have been longing for but unable to find until now. They are all different but yet the same in a way. But this trip to Texas will change them all.

I actually adore these hot cowboys. Definitely swoon worthy. Not only were they Alphas but they had good hearts. Adoring them is a understatement, their characters just tend to jump out at you with each turn of the page. They are so hot *fans self*, I couldn't help getting sucked into ranch life.

Hensley, Ecker, and Le Blanc can really make your heart pound and blood boil. Not only are these women talented but they bring a new excitement not only to the erotic genre but the romance genre as well. They give you hot and heavy attraction and passion. And a happy ending is guaranteed. I loved the fact it wasn't so far fetched and it was nicely detailed. Everything blended together perfectly so while reading it had a nice flow. I found myself not being able to put it down.

Deep in the Heat of Texas will knock your socks off. Overall I really loved and enjoyed this book. I recommend it not only for Valentines Day but all year long. The sex is swoon and drool worthy. I hope in the future they will do another book.  And after reading this I never wanted a cowboy so much *smiles sweetly*  So saddle up and enjoy the ride of this Texas ranch.

In 1492, when Ferdinand and Isabella expel the Jews from Spain, six year old Esther Sarfati finds herself travelling to Rome to join her father, a successful banker who has helped his fellow Spaniard, Rodrigo Borgia, finance his bid for the Papacy. Nine years later, as Pope Alexander VI, he repays the favour by offering Esther a place in the household of his daughter, Lucrezia, who is about to marry Alfonso d'Este, heir to the Duchy of Ferrara. Against her own better judgement, but in accordance with her father's wishes for her future, Esther converts to Christianity and enters Lucrezia's service as lady-in-waiting. Flattered by Lucrezia's favour, seduced by the friendship of her cousin, Angela Borgia and swept off her feet by Lucrezia's glamorous and dangerous brother, Cesare, she is drawn into a web of intrigue and deceit which will test her heart to its utmost and burden her with secrets she must carry to her grave. Set against the glittering background of the court of Ferrara in the early sixteenth century, this is the heart-breaking story of what happens to an innocent abroad in the world of the Borgias.

Captive Soul (The Dark Crescent Sisterhood #5) by Anna Windsor

    She’s definitely getting warmer.

Her flame power nearly extinguished in a battle against the dark forces attempting to control Manhattan, fire Sybil Camille Fitzgerald is down but not out. Joining a new squad of warrior witches, she hopes to reclaim her fighting spirit and, with luck, her pyrotechnic mastery. Two problems on that front: a new army of cannibalistic demons and her superheated lust for John Cole, an unholy blend of demon and U.S. Special Forces agent now working undercover for New York’s Occult Crimes Unit.
John knows he can’t be trusted—hell, he can’t trust himself. His warrior soul has entered a new, supernaturally fit body. Unfortunately, it’s a body belonging to the Sybils’ worst enemy, whose supernasty essence still lingers. But when John’s demon energy seems more alive than dead, it’s Camille whose scorching kiss keeps him human—for now. All he’s got to do is master his dark side and save Camille and the Sybils from an army of satanic hellboys planning their ultimate destruction.

Camille Fitzgerald is a fire Sybil, but unlike her other fire Sybils she is unable to call and control her fire. John Cole has been a spirit hanging around in his friend, Duncan's head until Camille finally sets him free, but his spirit ends up in the body of Camille’s enemy. He is only trying to look out for Camille even though she trying to kill him.

Knowing he is marked for death at first sight, Cole searches for Strada by himself. Struggling to keep the essence of Strada withheld and his deep desire for Camille hidden beneath it all. Meanwhile Strada’s brother has taken over to destroy the sibyls. The war of saving the world has begone. Who will win?

The Dark Crescent Sisterhood is a fabulous, romantic ride due to the location of Manhattan and all the characters. *loved*  Camille and Johns attraction was definitely page turning but they weren't the whole story. Cole he has a fear of losing control to his enemies and Camille is afraid up giving up her control to Cole. Now its time for John to figure out a way to become free of Strada’s soul without dying himself and a way to be with the one he loves.

The world of The Dark Crescent Sisterhood is not only passionate, but a thrilling ride. I loved the way Camille got the chance to grow throughout the story. The one who once felt shunned on is now the one calling the shots. John is a fighter, he doesn't just fight for his freedom but for the woman he has fallen in love with. Captive Soul is a novel that really compliments the series.

Since the start of the very first book in the series you get a chance to fall in love with a whole new world. I enjoyed this world greatly. Different, hip, and loved the kick ass women!! Usually its the men trying to save the world, but not here, girl power all the way.

I really do enjoy this series but this book sets you up for more never ending questions. John and Camille have their own personal demons and doubts they are trying to figure out by themselves. John has gone from his own body, into living in two others and still trying to be himself and keep his control. Camille must discover how to keep control of her new fire abilities without taking others down with her. Their love story is complicated but adorable. The whole book is really about the war against their enemy more than falling into their relationship.

I liked this book better than the first, but I didn't just fly through this one like I have with the others. Although I loved the couple and the storyline, I was more interested in the characters for the next release Captive Heart. The first story had to have a lot of plot building, so I had hoped this one would move along with more action. If you haven't read this series, start with the first trilogy. Even though it is long, the series is a good one and I am excited to move on to the next book, Captive Heart, to see where this battle will finally take them.

    Cowboy Domination by Stacey Espino

[Erotic Cowboy Ménage a Quatre Romance, F/M/M/M]
Callie will do anything to save her grandfather’s farm. She’s even ready to offer her body to one of the wealthy Black brothers in exchange for peace of mind. What she doesn’t expect is how much she loves being dominated by the kinky trio. But can she trust the known playboys with her heart?

I love sexy cowboys so I was told by a fellow blogger to check this out. And check it out I did *grins*

A small town ranch owner and her grandfather are being run off their land by other ranchers. The Black brothers want to expanded their land, that means they are ready to take over the Johnson ranch. Taking over the ranch is not what was originally intended by these three sexy brothers. When they are confronted with the reality, they begin to wonder what their motives really are.

Callie Johnson is a little firecracker. Not only is she a head strong cowgirl, but she has such a pure heart. Callie will do anything necessary to save the ranch.Yes, that even means sleep with men that she views as the enemy. Colton, Waylon and Boyd aren't real sure what they did to piss off  Callie, but she has them twisted around her little finger. They want her in ways they could never imagined. Two cowboys offer her a taste of a  ménage, but only one cowboy gets the chance to touch her soul deep. Now Callie is caught between three sexy cowboys and is still unsure if she can trust them. What is a cowgirl to do?

Cowboy Domination was scorching! I finished reading this in one sitting. Although it was shorter then I would normally liked, I did enjoy some parts. I liked each of the brothers in their own very special way. The love scenes were hot and well written. I just wish the book didn't feel so rushed. I felt like I was missing something that should have been included. Callie’s relationship grows with each of the brothers. It was special and that part I did enjoy to the end. Cowboy Domination was a quick, hot and sexy, yet still had its loving moments. These cowboys know what they want and nothing will stop them once they get it.

    Reveal Me by Cari Quinn

Alana MacGregor craves excitement, but when her sometimes lover dumps her at a popular sex club, she wonders if she’s outgrown her live-fast-and-recover-later lifestyle. The last thing she expects is to run into the nerdy guy she rebuffed in high school—or for him to rock her world in ways no other man ever has.

Hot on the trail of a story, Carter Nicholas can’t believe his luck at encountering the one woman he’s never forgotten. He’s come a long way from being a wall-hugging geek. Now he gets all A’s between the sheets. But can he convince Alana he’s her sure ticket to an unforgettable night—and maybe much more?

Going out with her friend Kelly to a sex club, Alana MacGregor is dumped by Ramon. She isn't having the best night ever. But the one person she ends up running into is Carter "Nicky" Nicholas, is the last person she was expecting to run into. Talk about a blast from the past. Nicky has always had the hots for Alana and those feelings are now resurfacing from seeing her again.

Alana hasn't had a man who could just make her burn, but oh boy does Nicky. The way his hands feel on her makes her body just come alive. With him she can finally be herself. To Nicky's surprise he can't believe he is finally getting his hands on the woman he has wanted. He is now ready to welcome the future, but is Alana?

Alana is selfish and puts her needs first. Always. At first it was kind of hard to like Alana. She drags her friend, Kelly, to the sex club only to leave her not once, but twice. As the story progresses we learn that Alana isn't so heartless as she makes it seem, but their is a method to her madness.

Nicky has always wanted Alana even with her being all about her. Nicky is sweet, sexy and lets not forget smart. Why yes ladies, he is the ultimate package. *swoons* When the sparks start flying between them it gets hot. I mean seriously hot.

Reveal Me is a great novella that is very detailed. Not only is it sexy and hot, but has an interesting plot. I enjoyed the main characters so much. I hated to see it end because I wanted to read more about these two love birds. Although its short, it keeps you wanting more. Have no fear Quinn has written  more hot books to keep your fire burning. Matter of fact I will be going to buy all the books on Cari Quinn's back list. I am super excited for that. If you like it short, sweet and hot read Cari Quinn. You won't be disappointed.

Captive Spirit (The Dark Crescent Sisterhood #4) by Anna Windsor

Trapped by temptation, bound by desire
Saving humanity from the supernatural has been challenging lately—even for a well-trained earth Sybil like Bela Argos, who must harness the magic of a fractious group of warrior sisters and battle a new wave of paranormal attacks. Another challenge is Duncan Sharp, the hunky NYPD detective who might turn into a demon overnight and devour Bela in her sleep. Still, the darkness taking over Duncan’s body can’t stop the molten heat unleashed by the intense attraction between them.
Duncan has two major problems: First, he has the soul of a suspected serial killer hitching a ride on his vibe. Worse (yes, worse) he’s got a demonic fever raging inside that promises a world of hurt for everybody, especially Bela. Now he’s all about getting even with the demons that put this freak curse in his blood—satanic forces that dare to unleash their savage lust on Duncan’s soul, his city, and the woman he loves.

This is the fourth book of Anna Windsor's Dark Crescent Sisterhood series. If you haven't yet read the first trilogy you have no idea what you are missing. For this series a little background info is in order. So much happens  in the first three books I wouldn't want you to miss a single beat.  The series is about  women who can kick some ass with elemental powers, called Sibyls. They fight demons and the forces of darkness to make the world a better place. This series has plenty of action, sex appeal, and strong story line that keeps you just captivated by its characters and intriguing plot.

Bela Argos is a earth sibyl that has lost her fallen comrades in a major battle. Now against all the advice she has been given, she is recruiting other Sibyls who are as devastated by their losses as Bela is, to join her quad. Not only is Bela determined to bring them all together for the sake of the mission, but the sooner she can pull it off, the better, because there's a new battle on the front. And everyone will need to be ready and in place for it.

Duncan Sharp is a warrior and protector to the bottom of his soul. Being one of New York City's finest. He's tough enough to take on anything, well, except maybe the otherworldly threat behind some violence that has been going on. Caught up in the conflict between Sibyls and demons, Duncan will find himself sharing his body with another soul. The soul is threatening to take him completely over but can the Sibyls can help him now.

Although I liked this book, I just feel more of an connection to the previous books more then I did with this book. Some of the scenes here with Duncan are written fan freaking static. Windsor lets you for sure live out every moment she has written. Not only do you get a chance for the romance but the romance its self keeps your interest.

Bela was kind of hard to connect with her. I connected with her quad more than her, but still I felt she was missing something. Now don't get me wrong she isn't a bad character, I just think I expected more from her from hearing about her in the first three books. And there was plenty of buildup for that. I did enjoy reading this book, I was dying to know how will everything play out in the world Anna Windsor has created.

Although I didn't love this book as much as I was expecting, I am still looking forward to the rest of their journey to saving the world. Next up is Captive Soul and I am dying to start it and get all the answers to my unanswered questions.

Instant Temptation (Wilder, #3) by Jill Shalvis

Yummy! My favorite Wilder! *licks lips*  I love, love, love TJ Wilder.

This is the third and final book in the Wilder series and I am sad there are no more Wilder brothers to read about. And I cant begin to tell you how excited I was to finally read about the one who seems the least likely to fall in love.

Harley has been holding a grudge against TJ for a serious long time and the sad part is that he doesn't know exactly why. Having always been attracted to each other but each keeping it a secret for two different reasons. TJ ends up helping her with a project in the wilderness for a few days. What neither expect is to have their relationship hit a whole new level.

I really liked Harley and loved her inner dialogue, it actually had me hysterical. You cant help but fall for TJ. The bantering between TJ and Harley was just to die for. The flirting back and forth flirting was filled with tension but promising. Lets not forget the sexual tension between the two heated up the charts. Most think the story was a little drawn out but not I. I have no complaints.

Not only do Harley and TJ just keep you captivated but Shalvis also has extraordinary side characters who actually do play a big part in the Wilder series. And also revisiting with Cam and Stone was fun. I usually hate when series leave out important characters from previous books, but Shalvis never does that.

This book also had great secondary characters like TJ's aunt Annie, Harley's sister Skye, and of course the other two Wilder brothers. This is truly my favorite book in the entire series.

All in all, I really enjoyed this book and the ending left a huge smile on my face. Both likable characters, great side characters and lots of love you wont be able to get enough of. I cant wait to get my hands on another Jill Shalvis book, but I wont have to wait long. She has written plenty of  books I can back track on and her future releases will always be on my read list. You Rock Jill !!
