Review:
After reading Secretly Hers I have to say I'm pretty bummed out I missed the first book in this series. Since Beck is a new author to me I was a little worried how much I would enjoy her characters and her writing but as it turned out it worked for me.
While the story has been done many times and I mean the lets have a fling until I find the guy I marry story I really did love the whole spin and fairytale theme Beck brought to this one.
In the beginning Trip comes off as a manwhore but I loved getting a deeper understanding on how his childhood made him feel that he had to be this way. Sure he wants Kelsey but I really loved when he started to open up and I got to see how much he really did want her and not just for a night. Kelsey I liked but I felt she was so focused on getting married and having a family that she missed the bigger picture with Trip sometimes. He would just do the littlest things and I knew that he was into her more then he was showing.
“Prince Charming?” Avery asked. “Yep. Him!” Fee pointed at Trip. “He’s going to marry Aunt Kelsey when pigs fly, and I get to be the flower girl on a unicorn.”
This story was filled with laughter, tears and lots of romance. I loved the whole Princess and Prince Charming nick names they gave to each other. I enjoyed Secretly Hers so much that I am now dying to start the first book so I can see where it all began.
If you're looking for fun, romantic read that will get to you in every single way I would pick up Secretly Hers today!
