Bromberg, and Joanna Wylde will be unable to resist this sexy, deeply intimate tale of a woman running from her past, and the darkly mysterious man who sets her free. I didn’t think answering someone else’s cellphone would change my life. But the stranger with the low, deep voice on the other end of the line tempted me, awakened my body, set me on fire. He was looking for someone else. Instead he found me. And I found a hot, secret world where I felt alive for the first time. His name was Dylan, and, strangely, he made me feel safe. Desired. Compelled. Every dark thing he asked me to do, I did. Without question. I longed to meet him, but we were both keeping secrets. And mine were dangerous. If I took the first step, if I got closer to Dylan—emotionally, physically—then I wouldn’t be hiding anymore. I would be exposed, with nothing left to surrender but the truth. And my truth could hurt us both.

Holy crap!! This book is sooooooo good I literally couldn't put it down. When I finished it at 1 am I was at a loss for words. I don't even know where to begin in writing this review to be honest.
I guess I will start with Annie and hopefully this will make sense lol. So Annie is on the run from an an abusive husband. She has cut and colored her hair, tossed her cell and has camped out in truck stops. She finally lands herself at a trailer park and is starting to feel safe. Once inside she hears a phone ringing but knows it's not hers but she finds it and answers it anyway. It turns out to be Dylan.
Dylan is trying to reach the person who is keeping an eye on someone in the trailer park for him when Annie answers the phone. They joke around a little but Dylan starts to feel like she is hiding something and yet their is something about her that he can't stop thinking about her. The phone calls become more frequent and they have this strong connection which either of them don't really understand.
Without giving too much away this book will have you reading for hours on end. Annie is inexperienced and Dylan has her trying things she has never done before and she is enjoying it. And ladies Dylan is a dirty talker!! They both have secrets and they don't know each other but with the people at the trailer park they are all connected in some way or another. And I will say Annie does have some interesting neighbors.
This book is separated into 2 parts. At the end of part 1 I actually said out loud "holy shit I didn't see that one coming" and at the end of part 2 it was " omg I need the next book because this cliffhanger has me wanting and craving more"
This book has an amazing plot, mysterious characters, deep dark secrets and will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last page. This book is a must read and when it comes out I think this series will be a hit for sure.
This book is due out September 22nd and the book after this is out in November and I can't wait!!! Pre order now if you can! You won't be disappointed!!!!! In fact I am already ready to read it again!
