Can't Buy Me Love

It's Tag Crane's job to be the life of the party. Traveling from one exotic locale to another is just part of running the luxurious Crane Hotel empire. But even paradise isn't perfect. Devising a new business strategy is keeping Tag up at night-and so is the Great Dane barking at all hours in the apartment below his. To muzzle the problem, Tag charges downstairs . . . right into the most beautiful, blond distraction he's ever seen.

Dog-sitting by day, bartending by night. It's not exactly the life Rachel Foster dreamed of. But when Tag Crane rushes in, all mountain-man shoulders and obscenely sexy smile, needing her help for the Crane Hotels, it's a fantasy come true. What's the harm in a fun no-strings fling? Only a fool would give her heart to a billionaire player like Tag-until suddenly the one man who can't be caught is the one flirting with forever . .

Review
A billionaire bad boy? Yes, please sign me up! Ms. Lemmon has a talent for writing likable billionaires and bad boys who are not only sexy, dreamy and take control, but also when they fall they do it fast and hard. I kept wondering how she would top Reese, but she did and Tag was seriously yummy!

Tag is the Crane brother who parties but takes his job seriously. He is in charge of his families bars and he is the middle of trying to make them better. When his neighbors dog interrupts his working with barking he heads down to see why, what he didn't expect was a beautiful dog sitter who can help him get the bars exactly how they should be.

Rachel is single and quit her job because of her ex. She isn't looking for anything but when she meets Tag she cant help the attraction she feels and she has no idea who is he. Rachel offers to help Tag design the new bars since she works in one and has a degree in marketing. The more time she spends with him the more she realizes that he's not at all who she thought he was at first.

Ms. Lemmon brings humor to every story but with The Billionaire Next Door I couldn't help but laugh. The dialogue was fun, fresh and stood out. I also enjoyed how Tag was dating her and moving forward even though he never planned on it. He wanted to spend time with her and be with her because he liked her but didn't realize how serious things were actually becoming. But being who is he his pulling back messes with Rachel puts doubts in Rachel's head on what is really going on between them.

It was hard to determine who was my character in The Billionaire Next Door, but in the end I had to like Rachel the best. She was smart and I really loved her independence even though she was dating a billionaire. She wanted to at her own way and do her own things without Tag's help. Tag was sweet wanting to help her and I gave him props for that. I found it amusing how it drove him crazy when Rachel didn't want to take anything from him and help contribute to things.

Also Eli returns home and I was happy to learn more about this bother who hasn't been around. I'm really excited to read his story since he was so grumpy in this one after everything he went through. Overall, I love this series and it just might be my favorite by Lemmon so far! I'm sure I say that about every series she writes but I cant help it they are all just sooooo good!

A former job-hopper, Jessica Lemmon resides in Ohio with her husband and rescue dog. She holds a degree in graphic design currently gathering dust in an impressive frame. When she’s not writing super-sexy heroes, she can be found cooking, drawing, drinking coffee (okay, wine), and eating potato chips. She firmly believes God gifts us with talents for a purpose, and with His help, you can create the life you want.
