I enjoyed reading about Jessica and Gavin. When I started this book I couldn't remember the other characters from the previous books due to I read them a while ago, but I did remember this team is known for their pranks.
Gavin got hurt playing and was traded to NJ to a new team and meets Jessica his new physical therapist. Right away they are attracted to one another but Gavin still has a girlfriend is CA even though he gets the feeling something is going on with her.
Jessica gave up on baseball players because of her ex boyfriend but she sees something in Gavin and is willing to give it a shot. As they start to get close and spend more time together you can tell they are meant to be. They balance each other out well.
I loved the pranks the players played on one another and how they began to accept Gavin as part of the team even though he was still in therapy for his injury. I did expect more drama from Jessica's ex but that didn't really happen.
Hopefully the next book will come out soon and I can get lost in more baseball players falling in love.
